WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
The Regional Manager’s main responsibility is to maximize sales growth throughout the Atlanta territory, based in the Atlanta showroom. The Regional manager will drive sales, merchandising, and operational leadership for the Atlanta inside and outside sales team, showroom, and six Southern states.
- Oversee all aspects of the territory, including team management, outside sales presentations, daily showroom and sample room operations, and client satisfaction
- Synchronize the efforts between the inside and outside sales teams to maximize results
- Drive financial performance and aim to exceed projected sales targets while maintaining the territory budget
- Lead, inspire, and motivate your team to achieve territory and personal goals; lead weekly team meetings and educate team on market trends & territory metrics
- Identify areas of opportunity for growth within the region; execute sales strategies and implement consistent client outreach & follow up.
- Sets the standard for an exceptional client experience in a fast-paced, creative, sales-driven environment
- Build interpersonal relationships with clientele to develop and maintain client loyalty
- Support sales team in assisting clients; project scheming, presentations, educating on areas of use and application, and advising on alternate product options as needed
- Maintain and organize the showroom merchandise and visual displays
- Promptly respond to client inquiries regarding quotes and stock & pricing
- Review open orders and back orders daily to ensure orders are being shipped out promptly
- Participate in monthly territory sales meetings and communicate corporate directives to direct reports in a timely and effective manner
- Administer mid-year and end-of-year performance evaluations
- Forecast sales projections & reports for senior management
- Act as a strong Brand representative in the community and coordinate and attend local networking events
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitors
- Stay up to date on regional interior design trends, contract and residential projects in the designated territory, and key industry events, etc.
- All other duties as assigned by Senior Management
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE:
- Energetic professional looking to provide luxury experience in a fun, creative, colorful showroom environment where you will feel valued and given opportunity to make an impact on company growth and culture
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management capacity, ideally in a luxury showroom environment, with a focus on design, home furnishings, or textiles
- Ability to travel within the territory as necessary
- Passionate and proficient in interior design
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to translate company objectives into showroom strategies to drive performance
- Strong leadership & team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- A self-starter with an excellent work and is solution-oriented
- Highly organized and the ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Applications
- Base salary based upon experience
