About the Job
Description
The Regional IT Support Technician is responsible for the support of citizenM IT technology
used within operational citizenM hotels in the US, citizenM hotels under construction, and the
support office. They take ownership of the assigned properties with regard to the quality, state,
and security of all IT equipment within the property.

Key Responsibilities
- Remote and on-site support of technical issues in hotels and offices
- Management and coordination of external IT staff in the US region
- On-site support and delivery of IT system installations during the hotel development
stage - Apply and maintain security standards in the hotels
- Understand, own, and keep up to date the property-specific documentation to provide
proper support for the key systems within the assigned properties - Work with the EU IT team on projects and new system rollouts to ensure regional
requirements are met and compatible
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Previous experience with hotel systems and time spent in hotel IT support is beneficial,
but not required. A well-rounded understanding and working knowledge of hotel
operations and experience of the standard systems employed by hotel chains.

- Kiosks (Front desk)
- Low-voltage cabling/programmable logic boards
- Active and passive components of the IP Network for LAN and WAN
- File servers, desktop, laptop and handheld computers, mobile devices
- Audio visual systems and components
- Printers and any other peripherals connected to the hotel LAN
- PBX, Attendant Console, handsets, repeaters
- Cell/mobile phone networks and in-building signal re-transmission
- Broadcast TV service
- High speed internet access (HSIA)
- Digital CCTV systems
- Door lock and access control systems
Technical Software Skills:
- Operating systems: MAC, Windows, IOS
- Network administration tools
- Remote access, terminal servers, VPN
- Google cloud suite
- Office automation and productivity
- Hotel-specific core applications
- Interfaces and integration to applications
Other Skills:
- Written and oral English communication skills
- Ability and Willingness to solve problems
