Responsibilities & Qualifications:The Human Resources Manager will be the sole person overseeing all local HR requirements such as Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Associate Engagement, Community Giving, Recruiting, and Safety and Compliance, in addition to leading a team of Human Resources Generalists.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Corporate Human Resources team.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all business and personnel-related information.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to manage the local payroll process utilizing ADP Time and Attendance Programs.
- Complete new hire, termination, and payroll change paperwork for all new employees.
- Handle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of the hourly workforce.
- Ensure the completion of all employee-related associate engagement activities on a weekly basis.
- Maintain the local Community Giving program, ensuring all associates are included in planned activities.
- Disseminate benefit packets to monthly eligible employees and assist in completing paperwork, turning in benefit paperwork on employees' behalf to Corporate HR for processing.
- Assist Corporate HR with the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process.
- Administer all Leave of Absence, including FMLA, PLOA, and MLOA.
- Serve as the on-site workers comp coordinator, responsible for completing and submitting the appropriate paperwork for workman’s compensation or accident claims to the insurance company and corporate support in a timely manner.
- Ensure the performance management process is followed for attendance and performance-related areas.
- Review and sign off on quarterly scorecards with associates and managers.
- Investigate and handle employee relations concerns promptly.
- Provide support to the General Manager and the production and service leadership team.
- Lead a team of Human Resources Generalists, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain associate safety files, the OSHA Log, and assist in the compliance of our safety program with the Production Leadership team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' of experience overseeing Human Resources
- Minimum of High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Payroll experience is preferred but not required
