Responsibilities:Overview: Direct and oversee all Human Resources operations for IDEMIA's Secure Transactions business division (IST) within North America & Canada.
- Strategy. Build and owns the people strategy of USA & Canada, aligned with the corporate people strategy, provides input and receives input into strategy. Lead an HR organization made up of multiple locations and entities.
- Consultancy. Owns the employee relations strategy and aligns the USA & Canada HR team. Coaches and supports the HR team and managers in USA & Canada where appropriate. Drives a culture of trust with employees and managers.
- Union relations. Owns and drives the union relations strategy and holds HR team across the locations accountable for driving location strategy.
- Employee culture and experience. Own the Employee Experience for USA & Canada. Uses the outcome from IST’s listening strategy to drive a positive employee experience by using the data received from Annual Survey, and holds the HR team accountable for using information from exit and onboarding surveys to drive a great employee experience. Drives a culture of continuous improvement within the HR team e.g. operational HR, process simplification and improvement. Drives the wellbeing strategy – aligned to the corporate strategy.
- Compliance and procedure. Responsible for ensuring that the USA & Canada entity is aligned to all local regulatory and legal requirements. Whilst the reporting of topics like diversity, training, etc in the workforce is an absolute non-negotiable for compliance, the HR Head must be able to translate, articulate and build the content and strategy to drive these initiatives. Ensure compliance of corporate policies and that country policies are in place, updated regularly and implemented effectively.
- Development and learning. Is a driver of the importance of continuous learning and ensure the employees and leaders across USA & Canada are knowledgeable on development opportunities and learning strategy. Drives the corporate learning strategy across USA & Canada.
- Administration, processes, and annual programmes. Builds, owns, and manages the budget for USA & Canada HR. Drive data quality/integrity in the systems of record (ADP and SAP SuccessFactors) across USA & Canada. Ensure that the HR team is compliant on all local requirements.
- HR Leadership: Owns employee engagement of the USA & Canada HR Team. Lead the HR teams across USA & Canada and ensures a strong dotted line relationship with USA & Canada HR Operations/Payroll, Regional Compensation & Benefits, and Regional Talent Acquisition. Build a strong relationship with the HR Business Unit (BU) leaders to ensure execution of the various BU people strategies. Build a team structure that is efficient and collaborative. Build ONE HR TEAM for USA & Canada by driving a culture of team collaboration and sharing of knowledge with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Group projects and initiatives: Intentionally drives team to contribute to global projects.
The successful candidate will have around 10 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally with international groups with a matrix organization.
The successful candidate will have a strong international orientation and will be at ease in embracing multiculturalism.
Fluency in English is imperative.
