GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Oversee sales force and new business development in appointed location. To accurately forecast the scope, cost and duration of future projects along with the quantity of materials and labor needed to prepare a cost estimate. Manage and oversee contracts, quotes, schedules and deadlines. Track the progress of the construction operations for end of month billings. Also, field questions from field personal and work with the design teams as challenges arise.
Starting Salary $125,000 or higher based on exp.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs, sales volume potential and pricing schedules to meet company goals.
- Review proposals to determine profitability on potential projects.
- Address day to day questions and provide solutions to challenges that arise.
- Make sure that job prospect list is current and up to date.
- Meet and/or address questions from design professionals for future projects.
- Perform quantity take offs and compile all information needed to accurately determine the project estimate summary.
- Interact and collaborate with drafting, engineering, accounting and erection inside the company
- Interact and collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers outside the company
- Complete special projects as requested and performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regional marketing plan and budget.
- Implement and assure sales processes are being utilized.
- Review bid results and job costs on regular basis. Regularly meet with PE Administrator to update and project appropriate pricing strategies in the estimating tool.
- Be the voice of the customer and instill "customer driven" theme withing the company across all departments.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or equivalent
- 7-10 years of concrete sales experience preferred
- Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, customers, and contractors.
- Ability to train and coach other employees if necessary.
- Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task.
- Understand and accepts changes that are implemented to become Best in Class.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lead a team with respect and dignity.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
- Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
- Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment.
- Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements.
- Minimal risk of safety precautions.
- General office environment with a low to moderate exposure to production environment.
