As a Unidine, System or Regional Executive Chef, you will lead culinary training and execution within our locations, to meet and exceed guest experience, operating and financial goals. You will be a culinary standards leader, coach and mentor are critical to the consistent improvement of our culinary team. Key activities include:
Culinary Training: Coaching and teaching location level chefs to achieve our culinary standards, signature programs and develop an evolving pipeline of new talent for growth.
Culinary Standards: Ensuring that all operational standards are communicated, understood and are being met in existing locations though training, site visits and partnership with the on-site management team and District Manager.
Culinary Merchandising: With an eye toward visual food presentation and product display detail, you educate, demonstrate, and develop others to present food in keeping with a worlds-best display standard as seen in exceptional retail locations.
Marketing: Work with Marketing team to publish articles, appear on local/national TV and stream content to increase the presence of Unidine Culinary expertise in all markets.
New Facility Openings: Support openings, with menu support, product selection, and training of the Unidine culinary standards of fresh food and scratch cooking resulting in well-trained, inspired teams.
Innovation Engine: Working with collaborative resources to capture, leverage and create culinary, menu and service innovation.
Essential Functions and Key Tasks:
+ Ensuring communication and understanding of Unidine’s Fresh Food Pledge. Completing assessments both virtual and on-site visits
+ Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to standards in Food Management, Safety & Sanitation, Catering and Signature Programs.
+ Select and develop recipes, establish presentation and implementation technique, quality standards and food cost targets for promotional menus.
+ Participate in special events/new sales and retention presentations to include culinary instruction, event appropriate innovation, logistics, etc.
+ Support critical business with trouble-shooting kitchen flow, operational standards, kitchen techniques and food presentation issues.
+ Maintain and update Unidine Culinary standards as needed.
+ Uncompromising standards of cleanliness.
+ Guided by honesty and integrity in everything.
+ Requires knowledge of multiple software programs.

Qualifications
+ Previous experience with a high quality and service organization in a culinary leadership role with financial accountability and leading a team is required.
+ Experience working within a multi-unit restaurant/contract food organization in a regional role.
Education and Experience:
+ Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required with appropriate experience.
+ ACF Membership and Certification preferred.
+ Must have a minimum two – year culinary certificate from an accredited school or have related experience such as an apprenticeship.
+ Minimum 7-10 years kitchen experience, 4 years within an Executive chef role.
+ Experience within a high-volume environment
+ Prior experience training and leading the implementation of dining programs.
+ Excellent presentation and culinary skills
+ Proven ability to coach, teach and measure understanding within the kitchen.
+ Serve Safe Certified
+ Ability to implement change to dozens of units at the same time.
Travel will vary between 70%-80% based on business needs with extended location stays for openings.
Work Environment:
+ Requires repetitive wrist motion.
+ Requires PPE
+ Requires ability to lift at least 50 lbs. regularly.
+ Requires ability to work on a station for a many hours.
