About the Role:
Lead and elevate the engineering teams across 5 facilities in the U.S. and Mexico, driving innovation, operational excellence, and cost efficiency. Oversee the launch of new products, capacity planning, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality and profitable outcomes in a fast-paced automotive environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Project Oversight: Direct new product launches, tooling development, automation, and manufacturing engineering to ensure successful mass production.
- Operational Excellence: Implement cost-reduction strategies, space utilization plans, and lean workflows.
- Team Leadership: Manage engineering groups, including Project, Manufacturing, Tooling, System, and Automation teams.
- Process Improvement: Drive KPIs, capacity studies, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality/cost/delivery enhancements.
- Capital Planning: Oversee capital expenditure budgets, ROI analyses, and execution for regional engineering projects.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with international teams, sharing progress, and leading Kaizen and operational excellence activities.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison with plant managers and global partners to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated engineering issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in engineering management, with automotive or manufacturing focus.
Skills:
- Strong project management, budgeting, and continuous improvement expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Data-driven decision-making with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Leadership in managing large teams across multiple locations.
- Experience in Kaizen and lean manufacturing processes.
