We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Director to oversee the operations of Residential Care Facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities in Santa Clara County. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Details

- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Start Date: January 2, 2025
- Shift: 8 Hour Days
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2600 - $2790
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, nursing, social work, rehabilitation education, or related field preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of management experience in healthcare or social services
- Ten (10) years of experience in long-term care, healthcare, social services, rehabilitation, or related industries
- Five (5) years of direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Expertise in clinical service delivery to individuals with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations
- Current knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements
- Valid driver's license with three (3) years of driving experience in the United States
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets with the Finance Business Partner
- Ensure financial accountability and implement cost-effective initiatives
- Implement and evaluate policies to improve service delivery
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
- Direct programs to maintain staff structure for comprehensive 24-hour support
- Oversee Program Administrators to ensure accountability and quality care
- Build and maintain relationships with funding agencies, families, and community service providers
- Communicate staffing needs and changes to Program Administrators
- Develop and maintain an organizational culture of team building and collaboration
- Assist in developing plans of correction for licensure and certification
- Provide staff training and ensure compliance with corporate training plans
- Evaluate Program Administrators to promote professional growth
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding concerns and issues
- Maintain up-to-date operation manuals and implement changes in standards
- Oversee all aspects of department programming and participate in corporate policy development
