Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Regional Nurse Consultant to join our reputable healthcare team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's overall quality of care and patient satisfaction. This role will require shared weekend call duties and supervisory experience as the candidate will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the nursing staff within the region.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff across multiple healthcare facilities within the region.
2. Ensure the provision of high-quality patient care by monitoring and evaluating nursing practices and procedures.
3. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and administrators, to coordinate patient care.
5. Participate in shared weekend call duties to provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
6. Evaluate patient satisfaction and implement necessary changes to improve the patient experience.
7. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
8. Provide expert advice and support in the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.
9. Act as a mentor and role model to nursing staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
10. Participate in recruitment, performance evaluation, and retention initiatives for nursing staff.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Proven experience as a Nurse Consultant or similar role in the healthcare industry.
3. Excellent knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.
4. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a dedication to patient care.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to handle high-stress situations and make informed decisions.
7. Proficient in healthcare software systems.
8. Must be willing to participate in shared weekend call duties.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
