Location: Territory covering Montgomery, AL to Birmingham, AL (Daily travel required and company vehicle/car allowance is provided)
The Regional Director of Operations will be a key player in managing the overall health, profitability, and operational success of assigned accounts for a janitorial company . This role requires strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving abilities to ensure clients receive the highest standards of service. Daily travel will be required across the assigned territory. Will be working directly with project managers assigned to accounts to ensure janitorial needs and supplies are being met based off contractual agreement. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, some work days will require work after 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Provide leadership to project managers and teams within assigned accounts. Ensure proper training, motivation, and development of staff.
- Account Health & Profitability: Oversee the profitability and operational success of all assigned accounts. Ensure all financial metrics are within budget and contractual obligations are met.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with key accounts and ensure service standards are met through weekly visits and inspections.
- Training & Compliance: Oversee necessary training programs, service level inspections, and compliance with company HR policies.
- Operational Excellence: Conduct service level inspections and oversee adherence to operational guidelines. Identify opportunities for improvements and implement solutions.
- Personnel Management: Assist in the hiring, training, and development of Project Managers. Take part in progressive discipline processes and, if necessary, staff terminations in collaboration with senior management.
- Reporting & Administration: Submit timely reports and receipts. Ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and promptly.
- Equipment & Resource Management: Recommend necessary equipment purchases to senior management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role required.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- Self-directed with the capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated initiative to drive results and exceed expectations.
- Proven ability to manage financial budgets, service standards, and personnel effectively.
- Ability to travel daily across a designated territory (Montgomery, AL to Birmingham, AL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies and progressive discipline processes.
- Experience in janitorial services or a similar industry is a plus but not required.
