About the Job
A health center in Brooklyn, NY is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as their new Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care. In this role, the Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care will be responsible for working regionally in conjunction with Administrative & Medical leadership to develop and implement the strategic plan of the assigned regional community health sites.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care will
- Develop high-impact, innovative, evidence-based solutions designed to improve quality of care and control cost
- Assist in developing operating budget for salary and supply areas
- Monitor variance activity on a monthly basis. Consistently reviews department budget and implement cost containment strategies as needed
- Work with departmental leadership to develop strategies to enhance the patient experience. Monitor patient complaints in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Patient Relations to identify trends and plans of correction
- Develop a solid relationship with all aspects of Gotham Health Leadership and help assist, implement, delivery (and measures) the strategic plan at all community health sites
- Develop and implement services and program strategies that provide an exceptional patient-centered experience
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Nursing experience in a Senior Management role
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience managing complex Ambulatory care setting
- Experience with managing multiple Ambulatory sites
- Experience leading and managing in a complex union or management environment
