The Carpenter Health Network is looking for an experienced Regional Development Director to support our Home Health and Hospice agencies throughout Louisiana!
The Regional Development Director trains and coaches sales representatives to maximize sales performance; provides input into the development of specific regional training needs; and assists VP of Business Deveopment in the coordination of regional activity.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or have 3 years progressive experience in marketing, sales, or physician services setting;
- At least one year’s experience in the home health or hospice field preferred;
- Previous sales experience or a proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales goals;
- Experienced selling complex solutions and services;
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, organizational and verbal/written communication skills;
- Experience building professional development and learning activities design to increase the skills and capacity of others;
- Solid knowledge of educational and professional development best practices and trends;
- Thorough working knowledge of education/training technology;
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload;
- Ability to work as a team and in a fast-paced environment;
- Must be knowledgeable of state and federal Hospice and Home Health regulatory training standards;
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight.
Essential duties include:
- Provides product and sales training at both basic and advanced levels at the home office and in the field to sales representatives.
- Works with sales representatives to evaluate and identify improvement opportunities and provides immediate and direct feedback.
- Communicates with VP of Business Deveopment and Executive Director (ED) about training needs and the performance of individual sales representatives.
- Drives onboarding process with new Patient Care Representatives (PCR).
- Works with VP of Business Deveopment to identify and develop Executive PCR’s.
- Coordinates key regional events, including Regional Training Meetings, physician advisory boards, other professional association meetings, and special promotional activities, local marketing BLITZ campaigns, Community Events, among others.
- Assists VP of Business Deveopment and ED in evaluating sales representative candidates by participating in the interview process.
- Works with PCR’s in facilitating successful relationships with co-promotion partners.
- Maintains communication with other regional training and marketing managers to gain broad perspective of market and adapt innovative initiatives.
- Works with VP of Business Deveopment in coordinating regional events.
- Assists the VP of Business Deveopment in providing market planning analysis with qualitative information to improve low performing territories and determine region and territory potential.
- Assists the VP of Business Deveopment and ED in developing regional business plan and PCR business plan review to help identify positive and negative trends.
- Provides sales representatives training for sales detail calls and identifies and provides any appropriate sales materials.
- Communicates and coordinates with the marketing department concerning the usage and issues relating to sales tools.
- Recommends and/or develops training materials and programs for submission to headquarters training and coordinate distribution of materials.
- In consultation with the marketing department, designs and delivers training programs as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Business Development.
