Job Details
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements Including Analytical Review
Review and record journal entries required to reflect monthly activity
Ensure proper month-end close process to ensure accuracy of accounting records
Preparation of work papers supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances
Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations
Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all bank reconciliations
Update OneStream to meet Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas Inc. (MLNA; parent company) monthly reporting requirements
Balance intercompany balances with MLNA
Prepare monthly Flash report as required for MLNA
Prepare monthly RVC (supervisory board) report comments
Prepare annual budget, periodic latest estimates (forecasts) and monthly estimates.
Prepare weekly cash projections to effectively enable the enhancement of cash flows and minimize cash balances
Improve NWC and FCF performance
Ensure capital expenditures and inventory remain within budget / forecast and financing expectations
Maintain tight cost controls over operating expenditures
Provide business insight and guidance to the Regional Vice President and branch management
Analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective
Support the month-end business review process with value added information & analysis
Communication as necessary to answer questions and inform business partners concerning financial performance and business issues
Recommend sales and cost improvement strategies
Provide business forecasts
Work with CFO and Director of Shared Services to implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
Work with CFO and Director of Shared Services to implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles and ensure timely and accurate reporting
Work effectively with MLNA Tax and Risk departments
Work effectively with MLNAs ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasts and general requests as required
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations
Ensuring compliance with all MLNA including supporting design, implementation, and operational effectiveness regarded Sarbanes Oxley guidelines
Successfully manage the annual audit process with external auditors
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
Experience: Seven+ years in equipment dealer, rental and/or business service sector. Five+ years experience managing accounting and the finance process. Three+ years of experience in a position equivalent to a controller or higher responsibilities for a service company with annual revenues over $50 million. CPA Strongly Preferred
Computer Skills: Exceptional computer skills in the operation of all programs used by the organization including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Equipsoft, Adaptive Planning, and OneStream.
Other Requirements: Ability to deliver clear and concise written and verbal presentations. Must be able to effectively communicate with people operating at all levels of the company in a variety of situations. Travel less than 35%
