**Job Functions:

**Provides services and technical support to customers at their facilities. Services include weekly and annual ANSI Z358.1 inspections, maintenance, and warranty repair within assigned territory.

**Accountabilities:

• Perform Compliance Inspections
• Perform Service Activities
• Conduct Facility Surveys
• Customer Prospecting
• Customer Relationships

**Field Responsibilities:

**

• Install and/or oversee installation of equipment according to plan specifications.
• Test equipment to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to operate, trouble shoot, and repair emergency shower and eye wash products.
• Conduct onsite training to instruct customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Schedule and perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Obtain assistance from Engineers and/or HI Engineering Manager if unable to resolve issues.
• Provide inspection reports to customers on services performed.
• Understand OSHA safety practices and able to work safely.
• Ability to perform ANSI Z358.1 annual inspections.
• Develop working relationships with customers to promote future sales.
• All other duties as assigned

**Education and/or Experience:

**AS degree or completion of trade school or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not required. Prior experience with industry standards including ANSI and OSHA preferred

** Ability to apply common sense thinking to a wide range of practical problems. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in verbal, written or diagram form.

Employees in this position must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and use hands to finger or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, bend, climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

**Office, hazardous areas and indoor and outdoor environments at customer sites. Travel within assigned territory is essential for position

RequirementsCandidates must be local to Houston, TX. No relocation fees will be provided.

This role works at our client site. The client requires the following medical clearance is required prior to traveling to their site:

• Mantoux TB skin test results (placed and read within the last 6 months)

• Proof of measles (rubeola)

• Proof of chickenpox (varicella)

• Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Recommended

Candidates for this role must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated prior to traveling to the client site.
