Medical Facilities of America, a leading healthcare management company for post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, is seeking qualified candidates to join our growing team as a Regional Business Office Manager in the Maryland area.
As the Regional Business Office Manager, you will be an integral part of our regional leadership team, responsible for advising, coaching, developing, and leading Business Office Managers in our healthcare centers, ensuring effective and efficient accounts receivable management across the region.

What you'll do
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Business Office Managers and staff across the region.
- Implement monitoring mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle management and financial outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of multiple center business offices within the region to evaluate their financial performance and accounts receivable management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement to empower business office professionals to excel in their roles and adapt to evolving industry dynamics.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to identify potential compliance issues or billing discrepancies.
- Lead initiatives to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and revenue enhancement within business office functions.
What you need
- Ability to travel as this position will be working daily in skilled nursing facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Technical knowledge of inpatient skilled nursing, managed care, and long-term care billing.
- Experience coaching, educating, and preparation of revenue and accounts receivable management.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to effectively coordinate people and resources.
- Proficient with computer programs including scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
