About the Job
Aventura Health Group is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Regional Business Office Manager (BOM) to provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities. In this key regional role, you will lead and manage the business office operations at several locations, ensuring financial compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery to residents and families.
The region covered would be PA (Delaware, Chester, Lackawanna) and FL (St. Petersburg), with work primarily being done out of the Delaware/Chester PA area. The position commands ability to assist centers remotely while located in another center, and also be available to travel to all centers when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Leadership: Provide leadership and oversight to the Business Office Managers (BOMs) at multiple facilities, ensuring consistency in operations, adherence to financial policies, and compliance across the region.
Operational Oversight: Direct the process for gathering and managing documentation for Medicaid applicants across all facilities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to meet regulatory standards.
Financial Management: Supervise and ensure the accurate entry of census information into billing and clinical software across all facilities, maintaining consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Revenue Cycle Optimization: Lead the collection of private and income monies owed to the facilities in your region, focusing on improving cash flow, reducing outstanding balances, and optimizing the revenue cycle.
Insurance Authorization: Oversee and streamline the insurance authorization process for multiple facilities, ensuring smooth communication between residents, families, and insurance providers.
Resident Fund Management: Supervise the distribution and management of resident funds across the region, ensuring compliance with financial policies and maintaining transparency in all financial transactions.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that admission agreements are signed and compliant at all facilities, and drive improvements in financial documentation processes across the region.
Team Development and Support: Mentor and guide BOMs at each facility, providing leadership, training, and support to help team members excel in their roles. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements across all facilities and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and financial outcomes.
Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the facilities and the broader organizational goals.

Healthcare Financial Expertise: You possess in-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO regulations, and financial processes in healthcare, ensuring consistent compliance and financial integrity across all facilities in your region.
Proven Financial Acumen: With an associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, you bring practical expertise in managing financial operations and improving revenue cycles.
