About the Job
The Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit civil law firm, Piedmont Regional Office seeks a Regional Administrative Assistant. This is an administrative management, non-attorney position that will work closely with the office's Regional Operations Manager, and other staff.
Responsibilities:Duties include: supervising secretarial staff; typing confidential and legal documents and other correspondence; providing assistance to the Regional Operations Manager in the following areas preparing master timesheet, budget administration, procurement of supplies, inventory control, equipment and facility maintenance, telephone duties, network administration & troubleshooting, and other administrative tasks that are assigned.
Requirements
The successful applicant must be at least a high school graduate; pass grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and proofreading tests. Must be familiar with basic office duties and be knowledgeable in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook. Must be licensed to drive and have reliable transportation. Applicants with prior legal secretarial experience, bookkeeping and/or accounting background preferred.
Starting Salary: $39,140
