Ideal candidate will be someone with experience in Traffic Paint and/or Industrial Coatings.
Essential Functions:
- Direct sales of Traffic Paints and Industrial Coatings in the designated territory.
- Understand and promote the entire product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers for service optimization, sales growth, and satisfaction.
- Conduct sales calls and visits to current and potential accounts within the assigned territory.
- Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins in accordance with company policies.
- Align individual sales efforts with organized marketing activities and other territories as assigned.
- Respond promptly to sales inquiries.
- Monitor and support current market and competitor activities.
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (HubSpot) system for customer management.
- Provide technical service and training for customer applications, including troubleshooting and product demonstrations.
- Forecast sales for the designated territory.
- Attend industry, trade association(s), and network events.
- Report as required by the company.
Qualifications:
- Successful performance of essential functions.

Skills / Abilities:
- Proven sales and/or account management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and closing skills.
- Knowledge of specification-based selling.
- Ability to develop and maintain forecasts.
- Motivational skills for promoting Paint Products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Compliance with safety policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Education / Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
- At least ten (10) years of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, hear, and walk.
- Travel within the Great Lakes Territory or other assigned area(s) required at least 50% of the time.
- Occasional travel outside of this territory as assigned.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with no major driving violations.
