Growth Refrigeration Engineer opportunity with great quality of life living and working on the Michigan Lake Shore.
Lead projects to enhance the performance and value of new and existing products. Work collaboratively with the other technology teams to support NPD, DFM, and VE projects. Identify areas of opportunity for DFM and standardization through primary-secondary research, observation, trends, and supplier partnerships.
To Qualify: At least 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience. Master’s degree in Engineering is a plus. Strongexperience in the design of self-contained and remote refrigerated equipment. Deep expertise in thermodynamics and airflow analysis. Knowledge of relevant control systems and programming.
Skilled in APQP and/or Design for Six Sigma products, DOE, process capability studies, and other quality assurance tools.
Here is your new opportunity: Responsible for leading the development of refrigerated system designs from early research through proof of concept and production. Responsible for applying best practices including, design for manufacturing tools to create differentiating products. Provide technical leadership to the development of R290 self-contained and remote low-GWP refrigeration systems.
