Red Hat Systems Administrator SME

Position Summary:

Command Cyber Solutions (a government contractor) is seeking a qualified Red Hat Systems Administrator SME in support of client located at Hill AFB, Utah.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Provide technical and system administration support through troubleshooting, identifying and addressing issues, patching and updating of servers and assist in deploying or installing applications or configurations approved for deployment.
•    Assist technical leads in implementing systems and software updates.
•    Develop and deploy administration support for all Hill CEDC technology stacks, including but not limited to:
o    Automation.
o    Scripting to provision.
o    STIG remediation.
•    Configure, implement, and deploy systems. 
•    Manage and maintain computer systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
•    Ensure system stability, security, and performance through tasks like installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and software management. 
•    Manage user accounts, system backups, updates, and security patches.
•    Collaborate alongside a team to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain the Red Hat environment.
•    Ensure recoverability and adherence of Red Hat technical infrastructure and application environments.

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience.
•    Ten (10) or more years of experience.
•    Active Secret Clearance.

Certifications Required (only one required):

•    Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
•    Red Hat Certified Engineer.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

•    Red Hat Atomic LXC/Docker Container environment.
•    Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6 and higher. 
•    Red Hat Identity Policy Audit (IPA) versions 4 and higher. 
•    Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) version 5 and higher.
•    Red Hat OpenShift Platform version 4 and higher.
•    Red Hat Certificate System.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

•    Basic office work environment at government facility location
•    Hours of operation are M-F between 0600-1800.
•    Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
•    Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
