Overview Of Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruiting Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing deals with US-based companies that are seeking to hire top-tier AI/ML/Data Science engineers. Your primary focus will be building strong relationships with HR Principals, Engineering Managers, and other key stakeholders within client organizations.
In this role, you are purely focused on selling. You will focus 75% of your time finding new clients and 25% of your time selling to current Syndesus clients in the US. Please note that there is an opportunity to sell recruiting and other solutions to the Syndesus install base in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Ownership:
- Take ownership of individual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth through account penetration and excellent networking
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute effective prospecting strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Identify, qualify and close potential clients within the target market of US-based companies leveraging ML/DS technologies
- Utilize industry insights and market trends to identify emerging opportunities and act on them with requisite urgency.
Client Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with HR, Engineering Managers, and other decision-makers within client organizations.
- Understand their specific hiring needs, challenges, and long-term goals.
- Provide consultative advice on talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
- Ensure that Syndesus is positioned optimally to influence strategic tech recruitment and staffing decisions within existing clients/accounts
Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the value proposition of our services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to maximize revenue and profitability.
Talent Acquisition Expertise:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the AI/ML/Data Science talent landscape
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies & companies, and talent market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with our recruiting team to identify key matches/strong fit potential (etc.) between our talent pool and various clients’ needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of accomplishment in selling recruiting services for technical roles (especially AI/ML/Data Science placements or staffing).
- 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Consultative Selling Mindset – comfortable engaging HR, Engineering, and Finance to uncover deeper challenges.
- Strong Communication & Presentation Skills – you’ll be talking to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the AI/ML/Data Science domain, knowledge of companies leveraging that technology, and the challenges faced by such companies in hiring top talent.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- CRM Proficiency – HubSpot or similar tools.
- Highly accountable team-player approach

**Must live in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley, San Francisco or the East Bay) **
