About the Job
The Recruiting Manageris responsible for leading and managing all aspects of field recruitment to attract, evaluate, and hire top-tier talent for our Residential division (1.4B Revenue for FY24). This role involves developing and implementing recruiting strategies, managing a team of recruiters, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience across all locations. The Recruiting Manager will collaborate with Operational and Corporate leaders to align recruitment efforts with the organization’s goals and ensure workforce needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Recruitment Planning:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet hiring needs across multi-state locations.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide insights to ensure effective talent acquisition planning.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field recruiters.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor and evaluate team KPIs to ensure hiring goals are met.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement:
- Utilize innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Cultivate relationships with industry networks, community organizations, and educational institutions.
- Oversee recruitment marketing initiatives to promote the company’s employer brand.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and hiring needs.
- Act as a consultant to field leaders, providing guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders on recruitment progress and challenges.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Continuously refine and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Leverage technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment activities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on hiring trends, recruitment activity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in a field or multi-location environment.
- Highly prefer experience in construction services, electrical, HVAC/plumbing or other related trade-specific, field recruiting.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage and lead a remote or geographically dispersed recruiting team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment marketing tools. Experience with ICIMS or UKG specifically would be helpful.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
