About the Job
US Services Talent Acquisition is seeking a talented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. We support Maximus' US Services (state government contracts). In this role you will manage our contractor conversion, community outreach to our project partners, support our recruiters on mass offers, The Recruiting Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating department tasks.
This is a limited service role with the potential to become a permanent full time role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage qualified candidates for open roles through the utilization of various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Communicate with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders as applicable to facilitate a smooth recruitment process.
- Update candidate trackers to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Conducts contractor conversions
• Assists the Talent Acquisition team with the recruitment and interview process, including posting positions, outreach and scheduling of interviews, and updating the status of candidates.
• Supports candidate onboarding and employment engagement initiatives.
• Assists manager with special projects.
• Responsible for adhering to established safety standards.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience required.
- Comfortable with computer technology and interest in learning new software applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel or database management preferred.
- Experience or education in Human Resources preferred.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
