Recruiter at Lloyd Pest Control

Lloyd Pest Control is looking for a motivated and experienced Recruiter to assist with the hiring process for various roles within our pest control company. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing candidates who fit our culture and meet the needs and requirements of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the the initial recruitment cycle for various positions including technicians, customer service representatives, and other support roles.
• Assist with the development and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent for both field and office-based roles.
• Post job openings on various job boards, social media platforms, and industry-specific sites.
• Screen and evaluate resumes, conduct phone interviews, virtual interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate and schedule in-person  with hiring managers.
• Perform reference and background checks.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment sources, colleges, and industry partners to create a strong talent pipeline.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate records of candidates, interviews, and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide recruitment guidance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the service or trade industries.
• Familiarity with recruiting for both office-based and field technician roles.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess candidates’ skills, cultural fit, and potential for long-term success.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Previous experience in the pest control or related industries is a plus but not required.
