Are you passionate about creating engaging recreational experiences! AUE Staffing, Inc. Is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Temporary Recreational Aides. As a Temporary Recreational Aide, you will work under the direct supervision and direction of our host employers to prepare, organize, implement, and monitor recreational, athletics, and special events. Your role will involve assisting with various tasks including typing/computer entry, records maintenance, reception duties, and more. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the community while gaining valuable experience in a stable and supportive environment.Essential Functions:
Prepare, organize, and implement recreational, athletics, concessions, or special events.
Greet visitors, provide information and assistance, and handle monetary transactions.
Answer phones, provide routine information, and refer complex inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with equipment setup, game monitoring, and facility maintenance.
Promote proper operation and maintenance of facilities and report any incidents or problems to supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience working with the public preferred.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, walking, and bending frequently.
Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers.
Physical effort/lifting up to 20 pounds.
