$20.00/Hour (based on experience)
Team Recovery Ohio, LLC, the fastest growing organization providing treatment for substance use and mental health disorders in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a Full-Time, Third Shift, Recovery Housing Technician! Qualified applicants must be motivated, compassionate and energetic, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve potential issues.
Position Summary:
The Recovery Housing Technician is responsible for the support and monitoring of clients while in the program, as well as ensuring the physical environment is safe and clean. The Recovery Housing Technician provides milieu management and ensures safety of individuals or groups in an addiction withdrawal management program.
Job Functions/Duties:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitors housing resident behavior and provides support and guidance through the recovery process.
- Performs rounds at all properties, including hourly checks on Ambulatory clients.
- Performs room and unit inspections, as well as property inspections for new admissions.
- Prepares for new admissions, cleaning and preparing rooms and beds.
- Assumes responsibility for incoming calls to the housing phone and addresses situations that arise via that communication outlet.
- Responsibly handles crisis or behavioral situations as they arise.
- Assist in the management of maintenance requests and ensuring property is maintained in a safe, working condition.
- Driving company vehicle(s), including multi-passenger vans to transport clients to and from the treatment center and other locations deemed necessary for treatment activities.
- Other duties relating to housing, including administrative and operational duties.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be familiar with operations and requirements related to recovery/sober-living housing.
- Experience with an EHR system and proficient in clinical documentation.
- Ability to work and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in substance use disorder/mental health treatment/behavioral health is preferred (not required)..
- Experience with Case Management is preferred (not required).
- Experience with ORH standards is preferred (not required).
- Must possess the ability to effectively apply problem-solving skills while providing real time solutions.
- Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage projects.
- Must possess high ethical standards, and the ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material and situations.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and insurance with clean driving record (required).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (required).
- Ability to work Third Shift, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- First Aid/CPR, AED, BLS, and/or ALS Certifications are preferred (not required at time of hire), however, agreement to acquire these certificates upon employment is required.
- CPRS, CDCA, QMHS, and/or CPI Certifications are preferred (not required)
