Snapshot:
Start Date: ASAP - potential to start on January, 6, 2025
Pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
Shift Information: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM for the first 6-8 weeks of training
Flexible Schedule after Training (8-hour shift between picking your start time between 7AM-9AM)
The position will be fully onsite in Richardson, TX.
Job Duties:
- Reviewing applications for completeness.
- Accesses information from a computer and/or maintains a computer database.
- Auditing staff credentials and licenses to work legally in their field or specialty.
- Preparing and maintaining reports of credentialing activities such as accreditation, membership, or facility privileges.
- Monitor upcoming renewal dates and work with staff to advise them of the required steps to maintain their credentials.
- Utilizing multiple applications simultaneously
- Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other software on a computer.
What the position is NOT:
- Data entry role
- A customer service position. You will NOT be taking phone calls from members.
Job Specific Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Credentialing experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology (not required)
- 1 year of office clerical, medical, or insurance claims experience
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills - basic typing, navigation of toolbar
- Solid data entry skills required.
- Detail oriented with strong Interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Independent decision-making skills
- Database management
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
