The Village at Rockville, a leading Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our vibrant team. As the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist visitors in connecting with the appropriate personnel or departments.
- Manage incoming calls, transferring them as necessary and taking accurate messages.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Provide accurate information via phone, email, or in person.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for various departments.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.
- Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
Requirements
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking Experience: Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Administrative Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in an administrative role.
- Microsoft Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
Benefits

Pay range: $18 - $22 based on experience
