A little more about our center:
West Chicago Terrace is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) with 120 beds, proudly serving the behavioral/psych population. We are in a quiet residential area, across the street from an elementary school and easy to commute to. A few key highlights:
- 5-Star Quality measure – this means we provide excellent clinical care!
- The average age of our patients is 45-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
- We have special programs and events for our residents and they are eager to interact with you.
- Our team gets excited about flexible scheduling, casual Fridays, and fun events like ‘ugly sweater days’. Come join us.

The functions are similar to that of a “Welcome” (reception) desk: You will be checking in employees reporting for work, doing security rounds in the center, performing clerical tasks and managing the phone lines for a busy Medical Facility. This job is part Security Officer and part Customer Service.
Sample of daily duties:
- Greet and direct visitors while managing the incoming phone lines
- Create correspondence, data entry, printing, scanning, manage office supplies, and receive mail/deliveries
- Monitor the employee door and ambulance bay entrance
- Ensure our residents are safe and non-disruptive
What’s in it for you:
- Team-oriented and collaborative culture
- Employee recognition program
- Annual merit increase opportunities
- Robust benefits package, including a retirement savings plan
- Refer-a-Friend programs – Our #3 source of new employees is referrals from our existing team members. Great employees refer other great workers. Come join us.
From our new employee survey:
- 82% surveyed said “People here are willing to give a little extra to get the job done right.”
- 89% surveyed said “When I look at what we accomplished, I feel a sense of pride.”
