Receptionist - AssuredPartners

AssuredPartners of Texas is seeking a Receptionist to join their growing team in Plano, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to pivot into insurance – an established and stable industry.

As the Receptionist, you will be the first person to greet and welcome our clients, vendors, and employees of AssuredPartners allowing you to foster meaningful connections daily.  Additionally, you will answer phones, process mail and perform additional administrative tasks. The receptionist should be comfortable with answering phones, data entry and computer work, composing correspondence and e-mail communication, and general office tasks. You would maintain files by compiling and updating client information so attention to detail is a must.

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Position.

• Welcome onsite-visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Maintains lobby appearance. 
• Answers incoming phone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards call to appropriate personnel. Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information. 
• Sorts and routes incoming mail, either paper or electronic, to the appropriate personnel. Processes outgoing mail including UPS/FedEx packages. 
• Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and maintaining data. 
• Answer Personal Lines call loop calls, screen calls, and direct the calls according to processes and procedures.  
• Perform simple Personal Lines administrative service requests, like issue ID cards (P&C License not required). 
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED and relative administrative experience and/or training preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite 
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionallylift up to 45 pounds
