About the Position
- As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, the receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. We are seeking an individual who understands the significance of this role and is eager to contribute their passion for animals and exemplary customer service skills to our team. At Two Hands Four Paws, our cherished clients – both human and canine – are an integral part of our extended family, with many entrusting us with their pets for years.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting visitors, clients, vendors, and animal patients
- Handling a high volume of incoming calls and managing multiple lines on a phone system
- Promptly responding to emails
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Initiating outbound calls to clients
- Maintaining and organizing medical records, charts, and reports monitoring inventory levels as well as informing the supervisor of shortages
Qualifications
- Passion for both animals and people
- Minimum of one year experience as a veterinary receptionist
- Extraordinary customer service skills. Hospitality experience is a plus!
- Exceptional listening and communication abilities
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and preferably Avimark
- Must be a Team player with a positive outlook
- Strong multitasking skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work independently and manage front desk operations
- Los Angeles, CA 90064: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Schedule
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
