Johnson County Clin-Trials is seeking a positive, outgoing Front Office Receptionist to join our amazing team of highly committed, motivated professionals! To be considered for this full-time position the candidate must be reliable, friendly and customer service oriented.
We are seeking an experienced receptionist who we will train on our systems and processes levering your knowledge and experience to create a welcoming environment for all of our visitors.
The person(s) hired for this role will be the face of our company that provides clinical research services to small biotechs as well as large multinational Clinical Research and Pharmaceutical companies. The right candidate will have the ability to learn how to deal effectively and courteously with all staff and the general public. Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize work and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced medical clinic environment.
Duties and responsibilities to be trained for our Front Office Receptionist include:
- As the face of our company, this person will be responsible to greet all visitors with a warm and welcoming smile
- Supports check-in and check-out services, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the clinic and patient record(s).
- Answers, directs and/or assists incoming phone callers in a multi-line phone system with the highest level of customer service in a timely and friendly manner
- Maintain the reception, break room and patient areas in a clean and organized manner
- Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure continuous improvement for smooth processes and visitor support
- Other duties as assigned by the function Manager.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, paid lunch
- Monday to Friday, expected company growth may require occasional evenings and weekend as needed
Education, Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-year degree, highly desired
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research procedures is a plus.
- Dependability and a positive attitude are essential.
