About the Job
Our North area medical device client is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their fast-paced Houston office.

- Professionally greet customers, employees, and all other visitors, and notifying the appropriate contact.
- Demonstrate excellent human relations and communications skills when interacting with all levels of employees.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Issues control badges, records arrivals and departures.
- Operates a telephone switchboard by placing and/or receiving local and routine long-distance calls. May maintain toll records, including cost and time data, originating and receiving destinations, and names of parties.
- May use timelines and determine most feasible type of service.
- May have responsibility for some voice mail and faxing and may use computer to perform clerical duties.
- Comply with policies and procedures
- Provide general clerical support to Customer Service and to department manager.
- Purchase office supplies for Customer Service.
- Assist with special assignments as directed.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
- Experience working in a medical office is advantageous
