Job Overview
The Receptionist performs a range of general office support activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the receptionist for the office; greets and directs visitors and applicants accordingly in a professional manner.
- Answer/transfer phone calls, direct callers to the appropriate party, forward messages, provide general information, and answer and maintain log of routine inquiries.
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments and meetings; coordinate events.
- Maintain cleanliness of office common areas and kitchen (run/empty dishwasher daily).
- Monitors, orders, and distributes inventory of office supplies.
- Opens and routes incoming/outgoing mail.
- Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports.
- Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities.
- Maintains filing systems manually/electronically.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of administrative or clerical experience in an office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of office equipment; thorough understanding of office management procedures.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reporting to the office the whole week is required.This role is onsite 5 days a week.
