Receptionist - Weisman Childrens Rehabilitation Hospital

We are recruiting for a Per-Diem (Benefit Ineligible) Outpatient Receptionist to join our team. This position will cover multiple location as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

·         Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring to appropriate destinations.

·         Responsible for greeting patients

·         Responsible for collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles, or payment of services prior to treatment.  

·         Responsible for performing daily insurance verifications as needed.

·         Responsible for monitoring entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.

·         Handle various clerical functions as assigned by Manager and/or Director.  Will be trained by the Manager pertaining to HBC procedures.

·         Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties.

·         Must be flexible with availability and be willing to travel as needed between sites

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High School diploma or GED

·         Two years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment

·         Experience with insurance verification processes

·         Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook

·         Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient’s families

·         Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
