Job Description
We are looking for a Receptionist/Cashier to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving/processing payments for services rendered, explaining the work performed, assisting with answering the phones, booking appointments, conducting follow-up calls, and answering client inquiries promptly and effectively.
We seek someone articulate, friendly, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction
- Answers incoming calls to the Service department and schedules appointments or directs callers when necessary
- Files/retrieves repair orders
- Takes detailed, accurate messages
- Closes out repair orders accordingly after payment is processed
- Completes daily deposit
- Sets and confirms appointments for Service department
- Greets customers with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location
- Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone
- Verifies customer appointments and all relevant customer information (name, phone number, VIN, mileage, etc.)
- Receives/processes payments for products and services and closes repair orders
- Prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred
- Must be dependable and follow assigned work schedule
- Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Bi-lingual Spanish communication skills a plus
- Must pass a drug test and a background check
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent telephone skills
- Cash handling experience
Schedule 5 Day Workweek (40 hours) Incl Weekends
Schedule 5 Day (40 Hour) Workweek. Must be able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend.
