About the Job
RECEPTIONIST /ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
In this position, you will operate multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel while performing general clerical functions.
In this role you will…
- Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Take and deliver messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Provide callers with address, directions and other office information.
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor visitor access.
- Send faxes, retrieve and route incoming faxes.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS and FedEx packages.
- Order, receive and maintain office supplies.
- Create, copy and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports and other documents when necessary.
- Create new hire benefit packets.
- Set up in-person and phone interviews with candidates.
- Perform other duties as needed.
As the ideal candidate you …
- Have a High school diploma or GED completed.
- Exhibit good verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette skills.
- Can operate a multi-line incoming phone system.
- Have previous reception and/or office clerical experience a plus.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and Outlook.

- Operate a computer, telephone and other commonly used business-related items.
- Handle multiple disruptions with rapidly changing priorities to accomplish project goals.
- Use visual and auditory skills as required.
- Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel as required on a regular daily basis.
- Lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs when necessary.
