Receiving Clerk - Masterack

Accurate receipt, verification and inspection of materials/products delivered to Masterack in order to maintain integrity of inventory. Ensures timely delivery of materials/products to the proper departments and/or storage locations.

Essential Functions:

• Inspects, accepts and or rejects incoming product against the purchase order or material return authorization (MRA)


• Ensures nonconforming product delivered is segregated for disposition


• Notifies appropriate personnel (i.e. Purchasing, Planning) of product defects or nonconformances found between the packing slip and material delivered


• Posts received material into JDE and performs inventory transactions in JDE to maintain the integrity of the inventory on material received from outside processors


• Generates receiving documents (i.e. receiving logs, tickets, barcode labels etc.) as required, forwards proper documentation to accounting in accordance with company policies and procedures


• Maintains file copies of all receiving documentation for reference


• Communicates with the forklift operator on the movement of material


• Ensures all chemical Safety Data Sheets are forwarded to the safety coordinator


• Adheres to all safety guidelines.


• Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with other employees, supervisors and managers


• Able to adapt to the changing needs or conditions of the business as directed by supervision


• Participates in continuous improvement opportunities and activities


• Ability to work when required (shifts, overtime or on short notice)

Job Skills:

• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).


• Knowledge of ERP systems


• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing


• Reading and math skills.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) of Receiving / Warehouse experience


• High school diploma or GED, preferred


• Forklift Certification required
