Job Details
Seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal for its Common Interest Development team in our downtown San Diego office. Candidates must have a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program and at least 5 years working in real estate at a law firm. The candidate must be organized, detail-orientated, passionate! This team is a leader in the industry and work with impressive clientele, including projects throughout California, Hawaii, Arizona and Oregon. These projects include condominiums, planned developments, master-planned developments, standard subdivisions, mixed-use projects, mixed-use high-rise projects, affordable housing projects, and commercial condominiums.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of real estate documents, a strong passion for supporting clients who's projects average 5+ years, and a keen attention to detail as the team is very document heavy and technically savvy!
Duties include but are not limited:
· Creating and reviewing various documentation, including CC&Rs, bylaws, real estate agreements, and deeds
· Preparing for and supporting real estate related applications for final subdivision public reports from Department of Real Estate, including obtaining required documents to be executed
· Assisting with due diligence activities
· Drafting and revising purchase and sales agreements
· Filing and managing Real Estate documents
· Research regarding title issues
· Entity formation and filings
