Job Summary: Vaco has partnered with a Real Estate company and they have an opening for a Real Estate Paralegal to support real estate transactions and matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of real estate law, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will assist attorneys with the preparation of documents, conduct research, and manage transaction details from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- High Volume emailing to support legal functions
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of real estate documents
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients
- Prepare and assist with legal documents related to real estate deals.
- Assist attorneys with due diligence, including reviewing contracts and agreements and identifying key issues or potential risks.
- Coordinate the closing process
- Research and stay updated on changes in real estate law and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA) preferred, but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in Real Estate law
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and real estate-specific software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule - Monday through Friday – 9am to 5pm - 3 ppl in NY office - main location is in Hackensack, NJ
Candidate Must pass Background Test.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
