Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents and contracts for real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
- Conduct legal research on real estate and corporate law to support attorneys in their legal matters.
- Assist attorneys in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Assist attorneys in estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Manage and organize legal documents and files related to real estate transactions, corporate transactions, and estate planning matters.
- Assist attorneys in corporate governance matters, including drafting corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a transactional paralegal, with a focus on real estate law, corporate transactions, estate planning, and corporate governance.
- Certified Paralegal certificate is required.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, corporate law, and estate planning.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple legal matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
