Overview:
We are an international forest resource management and consulting firm committed to assisting landowners in maximizing the value and potential of their forestland. Our division, Fountains Land, specializes in land sales and is a leader in the industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Agent with a solid background in forest management and expertise in real estate marketing. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience while working remotely, reporting to the Chief Business Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field work including forest inventories, timber and boundary marking, GPS field data collection, prescribed burning, logging supervision, and planting supervision.
- Organize and manage detailed paperwork and files related to fieldwork and real estate transactions.
- Periodic travel out of town for inventory work and client meetings.
- Write and submit land listing proposals.
- Manage listing projects from inception to completion.
- Interact with clients and customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Account for contract deposits and oversee listing advertising.
- Prepare property marketing reports and GIS mapping.
- Review and compile timber data for marketing purposes.
- Conduct research and attend public meetings as necessary.
- Utilize drones for property reconnaissance and photography.
- Utilize negotiation skills to facilitate real estate transactions.
- Provide oversight of subagents and employees involved in real estate activities.
- Assist with budgeting and general business development efforts.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Forest Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of land sales experience with an active real estate license in at least one northeastern state.
- Broker's license preferred.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with proposal writing, budgeting, and marketing presentations.
- Proficiency in GIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
