The Real Estate Finance Manager is responsible for tracking all aspects of rent payments, budget to actual for operating and capital expenses, quarterly occupancy reporting and insurance tracking. The portfolio consists of approximately 20 locations. This role will have heavy interaction with accounting. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of commercial leases, accounting, previous experience with financial reporting and communicating with landlords.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with broker to update lease administration platform.
- Track critical lease dates following through to ensure all items have been addressed,
- Act as liaison between internal business units including accounting and legal.
- Review and submit rent invoices for payment requesting back up as needed.
- Audit CAM, tax and utility reconciliations.
- Monthly operating expense analysis and reporting.
- Track project financials against budget.
- Work with risk management to ensure proper coverage of locations and submit COIS to landlord.
- Quarterly occupancy reporting including calculation of metrics,
- Monthly review of property management's financial reports for owned buildings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred in finance or business
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and lease administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
