An awesome mid-size law firm is adding a CLOSING COORDINATOR to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, outgoing, team player who wants to advance in their career. This is an IN-OFFICE position where you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
The Closing Coordinator will track the pre-closing process and communicate the needs and status of the file directly with all parties to the transaction (listing and selling agents, mortgage brokers and lenders, buyers and sellers as well as internal team members). Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
- Manage a pipeline of purchase and refinance files from Intake to Closing.
- Work closely with teammates to deliver exceptional service and a seamless closing experience to our clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact and communication for agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
- Ensure all necessary documents for closing are obtained, ordered, or drafted to meet contract terms and ensure clear title.
- Maintain up-to-date software files with communication, status updates, and notes.
- Coordinate and schedule closings with all parties involved.
- Ability to communicate at a professional level.
- MUST HAVE STRONG customer service and people skills.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional email and writing skills, a professional and friendly phone manner, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- 1-3 years of experience as a real estate closing paralegal or equivalent.
- A passion for delivering high-quality service with a positive attitude.
- Outstanding customer service skills, including the ability to de-escalate concerns of agents, buyers, and sellers.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SoftPro is a plus.
The position requires related experience working in external relationship management
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven individual, ability to work with minimal direction
