Real Estate Bookkeeper & Financial Strategist at High Falls Sotheby’s International Realty

Our real estate team is rapidly expanding and we’re in need of a full-time real estate accountant! You’ll keep our financial records organized by reviewing accounts payable and receivable and preparing detailed account reconciliations. $36,000 - $48,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing payments by printing, distributing, and obtaining check signatures when necessary
• Complete other accounting tasks as needed to assist the real estate team
• Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for
• Input records into the computer to make sure financial data is filed accurately

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks
• Real estate industry experience is highly valued
• Proficient in property management software, such as Yardi
• Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

• Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to present data insights to leadership
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI analysis and forward-looking financial planning
