Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of real estate matters such as property acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing and development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, finance documents, and other related contracts.
- Coordinate and manage real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately prepared and duly executed.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessment analyses on potential real estate transactions.
- Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to real estate transactions.
- Represent the firm in litigation involving real estate matters, including property disputes, lease conflicts, and title issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current real estate laws and regulations, and inform clients and colleagues of any significant changes that may impact their transactions or business operations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the Florida State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a real estate attorney, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Proven track record of managing all legal aspects of complex real estate transactions.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and solve complex legal and business problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
