Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice and support related to community associations and homeowners' associations (HOAs). We are looking for one attorney for our transactional team and one attorney for our litigation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to clients on real estate transactions and community association matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts related to real estate deals and HOA agreements.
- Represent clients in litigation, including disputes related to real estate, contracts, and assessment collections.
- Assist in compliance matters and ensure that clients adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding real estate and community associations.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in real estate law and related regulations.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license in CA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law
- HOA and community association experience major plus
- Strong skills in contract drafting or litigation.
- Proven track record in assessment collections and compliance issues.
