Current experience should include representing real estate owners, developers, managers, investors, or brokers in three or more of the types of transaction mentioned above. . It is expected that candidates have a basic familiarity with managing and reviewing title opinions, drafting objection letters, and working through title issues, coverage, and other common ALTA endorsements. The candidate should expect virtually no residential or consumer real estate transactions.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will receive 50-75% of work related to commercial real estate. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop deep insight into the commercial real estate in Texas and nationwide and to bring that experience to developers, banks, middle-market businesses, and entrepreneurs.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas State Bar.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney.
- 4-8 years representing commercial real estate acquirers, sellers, developers, financers, or users;
- The common issues, and industry solutions to, the acquisition, sale, development, finance, and/or use of commercial real estate, including commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily real estate;
- Practical understanding of the main issues involved in the due diligence of various interests in real estate;
- Basic familiarity with financial / accounting issues related to commercial real estate.
