Job Details
We are currently seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the legal industry, specifically in real estate. You will be working on a wide array of commercial and high-end residential real estate matters, which will include transactional real estate, closings, purchase and sale agreements, and land use. Being a part of our team, you would be expected to bring your expertise to the table, assisting clients in navigating through complex real estate transactions and legal procedures. This role necessitates a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of real estate documents, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and closing documents.
2. Providing legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including transactional real estate, land use, and zoning laws.
3. Representing clients in real estate disputes and litigation, if necessary.
4. Conducting legal research and analysis to provide the best legal solutions to clients.
5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of New York real estate laws and regulations.
6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best service for our clients.
7. Providing expert legal advice to clients on high-end residential real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and/or high-end residential real estate law.
3. Licensed to practice law in the state of New York and in good standing with the New York Bar.
4. Proven experience in transactional real estate, closings, purchase and sale agreements, and land use.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff at all levels.
10. A commitment to providing exceptional client service.
