BASE SALARY: $95-115k (37.5 HR Work Week)

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in the real estate sector to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate finance and accounting, with specific experience in managing property portfolios, lease administration, tenant relations, and financial reconciliation. Proficiency in MRI software is a must, as is a solid understanding of CAM calculations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of industry professionals in the construction industry, working on high-profile projects and contributing to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all accounting operations related to our real estate portfolio, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Managing lease administration, including negotiation and review of lease agreements, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and handling tenant queries and issues.
3. Performing regular financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
4. Utilizing MRI software for property management, financial analysis, and reporting.
5. Conducting CAM calculations and reconciliations, ensuring accurate allocation of property expenses to tenants.
6. Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance and strategic positioning.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
8. Providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the real estate sector, preferably within the Real Estate/Property Development Industry.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in MRI software and strong IT skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices, including lease administration, tenant relations, and financial reconciliation.
5. Strong understanding of CAM calculations and the ability to perform complex financial analyses.
6. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
